frustrated!!!

Yahoo won't let me post my first fabric paper results in my group album. grrrrrrrrr!!!! Okay, I know I've been around the dogs too long. Ah, well, anywho. Here are my first swatches. they are, snippets of paper and fabric on a cotton shirt remnant, a denim remnant, tulle front and back, and a fabric sheet. let me just say that the fabric sheet was annoying. And I think my best results came from the tulle. Also let me go ahead and admit that I did the process WRONG!!!!! remember earlier when I was working on Violettes' "Crazy quilt background page" Yeah, well the processes are similar and i must have forgotten I was working with fabric cus i totally laid a layer of tissue paper over the whole thing, so keep that in mind when ur wondering why you can't really see anything. anywho once again, these are the results, don't laugh

labluegypsy said...: yeah, I haven't ordered any muslin or supplies at all this month so, I'm just sort of using what i have. I prefer to use stuff i don't mind losing if i muck it up. that way when i get good at it i can then use purchased items. and besides, it's more fun using stuff around the house. lol; October 13, 2009 at 10:57 AM

for everything really, yes it gets crazy in this head of mine from time to time, (i got it from u) but overall i'm loving life in every color, mostly blue. You were the Martha Stewart of your time, ever on your crusade to single-handedly beautify the world and wash every dirty child you came across. ( Those were embarassing times Mom, I did have to go to school with those kids you know.)
i remember you in pearls and heels, slippers when we didn't have company, which was rare. Something delicious was always cooking in the kitchen. You kept the house immaculate, 'Just in case..." And oh the things you could do with nooks and crannies- the library just off the living room used to be a walk-in closet. "W's" bedroom was originally the upstairs hall closet. We were the only family in the area with a built in hamper, once a large utility cabinet.
the days i would come home to a completely re-designed bedroom that looked like a page right out of Home and Garden Magazine. You were a marvel and a wonder. I will never forget the many gifts you've given me. Thank you Mom, for love, laughter and most of all, Thank you for creativity and all the crazy what goes with it. love forever, La
