A gift just for me

I decided today that since this is my birthmonth, I'm going to treat myself to a few online classes. I'm going to start Suzi Blu's Goddess and Poet class first. Then I'm going to take Myste's Art sentiments mini course. I will also be taking Norah's Faces course very soon. I promise to share my progress. I do have pics for you from past projects. I've been traveling and have pics of my sojourn to the Old south to spread my Mom's ashes. All of her children were there, I hope we made her proud. Atc’s for the Darkside

Made some Atc’s for a yahoo group swap.  The themes were

And I also made some Black Hellebore cards from a swap I missed out on while I was away.

Of course I also did some scribblings on the envelopes, cus I love mailart so.

I know the scans came out weird this time.  Think the top cover needs adjusting.  and the strange head shape keeps showing up in some of them because I’m covering the address labels.

Changes

Hi all, I am back from the depths and I’m okay.  I hope you are well too.  I have been staying very, very busy to keep my mind from going to dark places I don’t care to go , but it is allllll  good.    Well, in true me fashion, just as things were looking up and beginning to go well my life is about to change. AGAIN! So Gypsy, So me.  I will be posting about all the changes and all the things happening as a result of the changes.  But hey that is my life and I am getting used to it I suppose. 

I think I mentioned that my eldest daughter is in Germany now.  She asked me to make her something to hang her earrings on and a jewelry box so here is what I sent.

This ain't goodbye

At 545 this morning, the center of my universe and the brightest star in my sky gently flickered and went out. I am adrift in a rudderless craft with no light to guide me. I think I'll hang here a while and reminisce about the days of hats, heels and bling. I love you Momma, this ain't goodbye.

My Mom is dying

I'm here at the nursing home in Illinois. This is crazy! I can't believe this is
Happening. We all knew this day was coming but now it's here and we're not ready. I'm blogging from my phone. I want to scream but what's the point? I can't do this! But I have to for my mom. I love her so and I don't want to let go.

New Moon Valentine Package!

That's what my eldest daughter who turned 30 on the 14th of this month sent me for Valentine's day. it consisted of 2 dozen roses, Godiva chocolates, New Moon chocolates, a pre-order of the DVD and a poster of Edward and Jacob. I will of course be covering up the pic of lil' Jacob cus I am so TEAM EDWARD!! but I was so thrilled to get this lovely gift from my girl who is snowed in in Germany with very little email access. bummer but I love her and miss her.
