Changes

Hi all, I am back from the depths and I’m okay.  I hope you are well too.  I have been staying very, very busy to keep my mind from going to dark places I don’t care to go , but it is allllll  good.    Well, in true me fashion, just as things were looking up and beginning to go well my life is about to change. AGAIN! So Gypsy, So me.  I will be posting about all the changes and all the things happening as a result of the changes.  But hey that is my life and I am getting used to it I suppose. 

I think I mentioned that my eldest daughter is in Germany now.  She asked me to make her something to hang her earrings on and a jewelry box so here is what I sent.

This ain't goodbye

At 545 this morning, the center of my universe and the brightest star in my sky gently flickered and went out. I am adrift in a rudderless craft with no light to guide me. I think I'll hang here a while and reminisce about the days of hats, heels and bling. I love you Momma, this ain't goodbye.

My Mom is dying

I'm here at the nursing home in Illinois. This is crazy! I can't believe this is
Happening. We all knew this day was coming but now it's here and we're not ready. I'm blogging from my phone. I want to scream but what's the point? I can't do this! But I have to for my mom. I love her so and I don't want to let go.

I think I mentioned before that I am using junk mail for my journal pages so that's why my pages look so weird and I do need to retake some of the pics but I like how it's going so far not all the pages are done but here is what I have so far. sleep well

New Moon Valentine Package!

That's what my eldest daughter who turned 30 on the 14th of this month sent me for Valentine's day. it consisted of 2 dozen roses, Godiva chocolates, New Moon chocolates, a pre-order of the DVD and a poster of Edward and Jacob. I will of course be covering up the pic of lil' Jacob cus I am so TEAM EDWARD!! but I was so thrilled to get this lovely gift from my girl who is snowed in in Germany with very little email access. bummer but I love her and miss her. Happy Valentines day!!

Hope ur day is filled with love for yourself and those u love!! My oldest is 30 today!! I really miss her!! she sent me the "New Moon" valentines package. 2 dozen roses, a poster of Edward and Godiva chocolates!! Yes I am spoiled but I am happy, I hope ur happy too!!

As I said in a previous post I am following Milliandes 2010 art journal prompts, I am only on day 6 I believe but here is my 2 page spread which is day one. instead of pages it is the front and back cover of my journal. My journal this year will be made from all the junk mail I keep getting so I have plenty of raw material to work with. It has been fun when I have time to do it so anyway that's what these pics are and Gypsy, heart of my heart/bane of my existence. And some Billie Holiday cus that's the kind of mood I'm in.
