Ego

The moderator of one my atc groups lost her brother to cancer recently, it was her birthmonth and i sent her both a sympathy and a birthday atc in a lovely handpainted envelope. she never even thanked me or acknowledged it for that matter. Our birthdays were in the same month and it was her idea to post our birthdates for just such an occasion. 2 months later she has come up with the idea of birthday atc's and wonders what we all think. i know u know what i think. I am torn between ego an noego. what to do what to do. I am thinking of leaving the group. I just don't think I fit in there either. while i was away I let go of alot of things that just didn't make me happy. now this group is making me unhappy. yep, i think i'm going.

back from outer space

I can't believe I've not blogged for this long. A lot has happened. There have been drastic changes and there are more to come. I have a lot of old work to show and by the time i'm caught up there i should be able to show new work. it has been very interesting fun and even quite frightening here. I don't know where to begin. But I am very glad to be back. I have been reading quite a bit, had a few marathons for a while there. House of night series by p.c. and kristen cast was very good. loads of new anime, well new to me, paradise kiss, vampire knights and kyo kara maoh to name a few. I will have better lists for u. promise. just a little disorganized at the moment. oh the printer was crushed in the move to storage, yes there was a move, did i mention i'm in florida with my youngest now? Well i am. i will share more, there is much too share but for now, hello i've missed u

twilight

I have become a huge stephenie meyer fan. I read twilight, new moon and eclipse, really fast. the movie comes out this friday and i can hardly wait. Vampires and werewolves combined with teen angst, how could I possibly resist. and now that i am on the subject why are so many of the new fall shows being cancelled? Okay Valentine needed a little work but Easy Money is a really good show! Why is it being axed? I love Christian Slater and it was really good to see him again, but My Own worst enemy was a little confusing. And The Ex list was pretty good! And OMG I was just getting into Lipstick Jungle then WHAM!! GONE!! No more Men in trees, Six degrees was over before it began and poor Cashmere Mafia... Well so far that leaves The Mentalist, which is surprisingly good and Eleventh hour which is slooowly growing on me. Fringe is absolutely delicious and i love Life!! So most of the shows that made the cut are cerebral or scientific dramas. There aren't any comedy's out there that I like so... Oh here are those ATC's I made this week, a winter kiss and blue angel. Curl up on the couch with a nice hot cuppa and watch something good on the telly. Love Ya! La

the odd duck

Well I'm finally done with all the swaps and trades I got myself into earlier. I am relieved that I did it but I am disappointed as well. It is as I figured, I am just not a joiner. Ah well, it was all fun while it lasted but it is over now. I may lurk on some of the groups but I am definitely letting some of them go. I will always appreciate the possitive things i learned from them but i don't know that it was worth all that drama. I did go to Orlando and will share those pics occasionally here and there. I also have pics of Flora, the flower child I made for Bonnie and "Daisy" the doll that Bonnie made for me. I forgot to take a pic of Sam Hain before he left and wouldn't you know Donnelly my trade partner kept my doll and didn't send me anything. This is the only time that has happened to me so although I am disappointed I just chalk it up to a lesson learned. I have only made a couple atc's I have been busy being bored tired sick or sore. better now though. love yourselves and each other. La

My daughter is finally home from far far away and she is very differant. I miss my best friend, I hope she emerges from the total stranger that is here now. We were both very disappointed to find we did not just fall back into our routine. It is a huge shock to both of us. And in the meantime I am working on 7 projects at once. WHAT WAS I THINKING!! People seem to be arguing in all my groups and people keep asking me what my name is short for. I know there is alot going on in the world but I joined the groups to meet new and interesting people and share information our work and our experiences. well it is all blowing up and i am definitely going to leave a few groups soon. I have a few obligations to fill and I am going to keep the fun ones and ditch the dramaramas. no time in my life for OPP. Okay I have no idea what order the pics are going to come in so I'll explain in the last blog which i guess will be the first one you read. I don't know. Uh Okay these pics are of the "autumn fairy" paperdoll i made for a swap and the leaves i made that didn't get done in time for a page swap, note i used a few for the fairies wings. and Gypsy doing what Gypsy does when she wants me to stop working and play.
