january journal prompts from Milliande

I am working on mine slowly, you can play along too via youtube or on milliande.com. I think I mentioned before that I am using junk mail for my journal pages so that's why my pages look so weird and I do need to retake some of the pics but I like how it's going so far not all the pages are done but here is what I have so far. sleep well

New Moon Valentine Package!

That's what my eldest daughter who turned 30 on the 14th of this month sent me for Valentine's day. it consisted of 2 dozen roses, Godiva chocolates, New Moon chocolates, a pre-order of the DVD and a poster of Edward and Jacob. I will of course be covering up the pic of lil' Jacob cus I am so TEAM EDWARD!! but I was so thrilled to get this lovely gift from my girl who is snowed in in Germany with very little email access. bummer but I love her and miss her. Hope ur day is filled with love for yourself and those u love!! My oldest is 30 today!! I really miss her!! she sent me the "New Moon" valentines package. 2 dozen roses, a poster of Edward and Godiva chocolates!! Yes I am spoiled but I am happy, I hope ur happy too!!

Journal cover

As I said in a previous post I am following Milliandes 2010 art journal prompts, I am only on day 6 I believe but here is my 2 page spread which is day one. instead of pages it is the front and back cover of my journal. My journal this year will be made from all the junk mail I keep getting so I have plenty of raw material to work with. It has been fun when I have time to do it so anyway that's what these pics are and Gypsy, heart of my heart/bane of my existence. And some Billie Holiday cus that's the kind of mood I'm in. Goodnight ladies.

zines, fabric paper, love dolls and paint

I had to make more fabric paper for the love doll swap on mmartfriends yahoo group and I took a pic of the paint I used for the sweatshirt I was painting about 2 posts ago. Um also some cardboard papier mache hearts and bird heads I'm working on possibly for a swap I don't know. Oh and the zines that I promised to show you from the I heart zine swap. It is nearly 3, I think I have one more group of photos to share before I can finally go to bed. I love ya but I'm sleepy.

More busyness

Uh, these are the sweatshirt I was painting on and the panels for a few dark sweatshirts or that surprise I was talking about. I haven't decided.

2 A.M. again

What is it about me and 2 a.m.? Honestly there are other times to blog there Missy! Anywho, I have pics of my bloody valentine atc swap, a sweatshirt I was working on, the cover to my new journal I'm making out of junk mail well just the cover for now. I've been following Milliandes 2010 Art journal on youtube.com and I think I got as far as day 6 so far. but instead of a 2 page spread I just did the front and back cover of my journal constructed out of cardboard from a package i received in the mail and some sort of flyer. I have also been sewing and beading and oh brother this is going to end up being alot of pics isn't it. Okay sleep well, clearly I'm tired. enjoy.
